Baby's First Sign!
Here's a video of Anika waving hello for us at 6am this morning despite a moderate fever which has continued since last night. She's been waving for several days now.
As devotees of baby sign language (we've been signing to her since birth), we're obviously very enthused. The book we have claims that once signing begins, we can expect to see a new sign every couple of weeks. Stay tuned!

I believe I see a "righty" there. You can't tie her hand behind her back...it doesn't work.

She does seem a little more right-hand dominant, although I think this too may be one of her looming question marks. As a lefty, I feel like I'm stacking the deck towards being a righty, however, by putting things in the hand across from m left and carrying her around on my right hip all the time...
